Joyce "Red" Haskin Obituary
Joyce "Red" Haskin, longtime resident of Fairbanks, died Nov. 23, 2017, as the result of an accident in Bull Head City, Arizona, where she resided.
Joyce was born in Dexter, Oregon, on May 14, 1942, to Charlie and Barbara (Hunt) Johnson, and most of her childhood was spent in Southern Oregon and Sauvie Island. In 1971, Joyce and her family moved to Fairbanks. She was a heck of a bartender, an awesome hockey mom and she loved to gamble.
Joyce is survived by her daughter, Kelli (Brad) Erickson, and her sons, Butch (Katie) Evans and Tom (Patricia) Evans; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Russ.
Joyce once said, "I've had fun."
