Mrs. Lynette Jeffries (who will always be known as "Ma Jeffries" to me) made such a mark on all that she met. Such a special lady. I feel fortunate that she and John ("Pa") have always been so active in the Hillsborough community, and in particular, the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts troups over the years. Sending prayers to John, Vivette and Sharn, and their families.

I was saddened to hear the news of the loss of your loved one, Mrs. Lynette. In this life, if you love, and then you lose that loved one, there will be suffering and pain. The pain is real. The one we love is gone and the memories and experiences of life together remain.
This expression of sympathy comes with love. May God comfort you in His everlasting arms. May His peace fill you. May His promise of eternal life sustain you. Because Christ lives, we shall live also.

John we are sadden to hear of your loss. Lynette was a very loving and caring person. It was always apparent when we would see you at PowWows or the welcome we would receive at your home..... such warmth and genuine interest in you as a person. Sending you and your entire family all our thoughts and prayers. We wish you well.

Lynette was one of the most beautiful women I have ever met and had a smile that could light up the darkest day. She used to attend St. Matthews Epiccopal Church in Hillsborough when we first moved out to Orange County, and I was sad and puzzled when she stopped coming. I reconnected with her several years ago at a powwow in Hillsborough and we "hung out" together for much of the afternoon. My husband took a picture of the two of us that I will cherish. I will keep her family in my thoughts and prayers.

One of the first persons I met when I moved to Hillsborough in 1967. We were both SC transplants. She was so gracious and friendly and a person you would want to be around. My condolences to John , her children and grandchildren and the rest of her family.

One of the nicest & kindest ladies, always with a great smile.....I first got to know her when she worked at Cameron Park, and I was a school bus driver (1970). I always made a point to speak with her when I would see her around town. Thoughts and prayers to John and family.

One of my favorite people from 1978-85 when we mutually worked for the Orange Co. Schools. Lynette was always a loving, caring & positive caretaker of the youth and causes we embraced during those years! My sincere condolences to you, John.
