A resident of the area since 1980 coming from Maine, Hal met the love of his life in 1982 at the Barden Corp. of Danbury. They were united in marriage in 1986 and later started a family in 1988 having their twins, Jessica and James.
Hal worked with Poughkeepsie Concrete for many years, followed by Site Services of Southbury. The last 20 years, he spent working side by side with Danny Falls at F&D Fall Excavating along with his son, Chris Falls. The past year, Hal was employed with Elmer Lewis & Sons Excavating, where he continued to enjoy working in construction. Hal was a hard worker who would give you the shirt off his back, and willing to do anything for anyone at the drop of a hat. He loved working and doing things at home in the garage. Had had a love for building things and making new contraptions. He especially loved going for rides on his tractor. He was a huge fan of the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox.
