Mary was the librarian at Meeting House Hill School in New Fairfield for many years and also served for a time as the chairman of the New Fairfield Library Board of Directors. Mary loved reading, knitting, and working jigsaw and crossword puzzles.

I just heard of Mary's passing. I volunteered in the MHHS library for 13 years. Hanging out with Mary every Wednesday was a highlight of my week. Her stern exterior hide a wonderful sense of humor, an appreciation of the ridiculous, and a warm, generous heart. Mary was, what my father would call, "good people". My most sincere condolences on your loss.

Hugh and family, we are so sorry for the loss of your mom. Over the years, we had many little talks and walks with the dogs. She's part of what we miss about the old neighborhood. Our sympathy and prayers are with you.
Sincerely, Sandy and Neil Rodger and family

So sorry to hear of Mrs Bilecky's passing. She will be missed in the neighborhood. She always looked for Dexter at the front door during her walks around the block. RIP Mrs B.
