OKEECHOBEE - Kirk Eugene Albright died Feb. 17, 2018. He was born Oct. 3, 1938 in Kokomo, Ind. to Wilbur and Josephine (Kirk) Albright. A resident of Okeechobee for four years, he was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and the VFW Auxiliary. He enjoyed the family life, especially taking his wife dancing at the VFW. He also enjoyed attending church and loved shopping for boats and talking about fishing.
Mr. Albright is survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda K. Albright, of Okeechobee; sons, Mike Albright (Madeleine), of Logansport, Ind., Ashley Albright (Ruthie), of Okeechobee, and Aaron Albright (Angie), of Georgetown, Texas; daughter, Susan Burton (Tom), of Lady Lake; eleven grandchildren; one great grandchild; and brother, Bill Albright (Jean), of Parrish.
The family will receive friends Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018 from 1 p.m. until services at 2 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church with Pastor John Hirst officiating.
