Okeechobee - LC Harper died Nov. 6, 2018. He was born June 18, 1926 in Glomawr, Ky. to Clayton and Jewell (Elam) Harper. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy. A resident of Okeechobee since 2009, he was a Past Grand Master of the Commonwealth of Kentucky 1995-1996 and member of the Valley Masonic Lodge in Louisville, Ky. He was a member of the Westside Christian Church.
Mr. Harper is survived by his wife of 23 years, Frances Harper, of Okeechobee; daughters, Toni Wieser, of Zanesville, Ohio, Robin Harper, of Cuvington, and Lana Harper, of Harrodsburg, Ky.; stepson, Michael Harper, of Louisville, Ky.; stepdaughter, Lori Harper-Kyle (Robert), of Okeechobee; and sister, Viva, of Texas.
Masonic services will be held at a later date.
