Kate was a lovely lady and wonderful friend of over 40 years. May she rest in Peace. She loved each of her cocker spaniels over the years, and so enjoyed relaying tales of their clever and comical antics.

I never knew this wonderful lady by name, but will never forget the perpetual smile as she arrived for Mass every Sunday that never failed to make my day brighter. Many times, I assisted her by holding the door as she entered, always getting a nice "Thank you". Mostly, her courage moved me deeply, since she struggled with her walker. Yet, she always walked to the back of the side and never used the pew in front reserved for handicapped people. Rest in peace with God and the angels and saints.

Unfortunately I just came to know Catherine recently. She sat next to us in church every Sunday.

She seemed to be a private person, so although myself and others who were near her did not speak directly to her, we looked out for her.

She was an inspiration to me in that she always was so faithful coming to mass each week.

Myself and others were very concerned when she was missing for several weeks. Thankfully Sister Ann did some research and found out who she was and that she had been hospitalized following a fall.

I did not expect to see her back until maybe the spring, and then to my surprise she was back with us, only, now we spoke to her and she joined us along with her nephew for coffee and after mass.

Hearing about the amazing life she led was so inspiring, My friends and I only regret that we let so much time go by without speaking to her.

Listening to her nephew speak of her life at her funeral mass and what she meant to her family was heart warming.

I am truly sorry for your loss, and wish I had known her sooner.

There was so much more to Aunt Catherine than any mere obituary can say. She was a loyal friend and extraordinarily kind and generous daughter, sister, and aunt. She was ALWAYS there to help if she could, and was there for me at times in my life when I was isolated by family events. And she truly understood the nature of real forgiveness. I know my dad, Joe, and brother Mike will be happy to see her again. She loved us all so much and will be forever missed. Sara, Alan, and Lucas Buller
