Dori Laub was so generous with me. I teach his work regularly now and each time I feel at once sheltered by his kindness and challenged by his insistence on ethical compassion. He was an amazing mentor, friend and colleague. My condolences to all who loved and miss him, including his thousands of students.

Dori Laub was one of the greatest person I met when I was in the U.S. as a visiting fellow of the genocide program. I'm so glad I had the chance to know such a generous man.

To the family of Dr. Dori Laub. I took Dr. Laub for driving lessons with Epic. We spent several hours together practicing, and as you do in such a confined space, talking. We met very late in his life. Dr. Laub was a wonderful man. We discussed his life's work, we laughed, we shared memories. He touched me enormously, he was a good man. I wish I had picked up the phone one last time. RIP my friend.

I have been a member of the Holocaust group, chaired by Ira Brenner, for many years. I have always been impressed by the diversity of experiences of the group members. Yet at the same time impressed by the one overwhelmingly unifying experience of the group- namely the holocaust. Dori reflected this in his respect, values and commitment- Al Tishkach.
He will be missed

Dori had a huge impact on . my intellectual life. He was the first person to put me in touch with the reality of trauma in the contemporary world. I will miss his inspiration.
