Dear Kate, Colin, and Family, I am very sorry for your loss. It has been many years, but I believe Robert was the Commanding Officer of the New Haven Grays, Co A, 1 Bn. 102 Inf., one of the oldest National Guard units in America, in the early 1970's. If so, I served under him. He was a fine leader - an officer and a gentleman. God bless his spirit and your family

Our condolences to Kate and family. Sonny and I became friends when we were juniors in Ansonia High School. (Class of 1961) We hung around until he moved to Florida. Always visited him when in Florida and reminisced about old times. He was a unique guy and good family man. He will be missed and not forgotten by Susan and I. RIP Sonny
