Anthony Frank Marchitto passed away peacefully September 11, 2018 in Yale New Haven Hospital. Son of the late Pasquale Marchitto and the late Susie Giordano of Cereto Sannita, Italy. Beloved husband of the late Helen C. Marchitto of West Haven and loving stepfather of Arthur and Brian Belmont, both of West Haven, and loving father of Anthoy and Jessica Marchitto Jr. of Branford. Grandfather of Kevin, Erin, Aidan, and Kelsey Belmont and Mason and Maddox Marchitto of Branford.
Born on May 15, 1927 he had a long and successful career as lifelong member of the Bricklayers and Allied Craftsman Union Local No. 1 Connecticut. Anthony served in the United States Navy during the second world war stationed in San Francisco.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial mass on Monday September 17, at 10 a.m. at St. Lawrence church on Main street, West Haven
