David Bishop Chapman born November 24, 1937 in New Haven, CT, died April 30, 2018 in Moyock, NC. He was born to the late Mary Lynch Chapman and Clifford B. Chapman. Yale Graduate Class of 1960. U. S. Army for two years. Retired from New Haven, CT Postal Service. Avid Brooklyn Dodgers fan, sports fisherman, and nature photographer. Moved to Moyock, NC in 2014 and resided in Currituck House until his death.
Survivors Jean C. Snider and husband Denton E. Snider of Moyock, NC; nieces Laura Rodriguez, and Diane Jackson of Virginia Beach, VA; Cousin Barbara Lynch Bowden and husband Fred of East Haven, CT, William Lynch of NJ, and James Lynch of MO.Funeral 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 7th at St. Katherine Drexel Church, 154 Maple Rd., Maple, NC 27956. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Katherine Drexel Poor Fund would be appreciated.

My condolances on Davis passing. We were classmates at st John the Baptist school in New Haven manyyears ago. I riememberthat he was the smartest kid in the class and won the parish 4 year scholarship to Notre Dame high school
