Frye, Drexel, Jr.
Drexel Satterfield Frye, Jr. passed away peacefully on May 14, 2018 at the age of 62.
Drexel was born in Litchfield, CT on May 28, 1955 to the late Drexel and Geraldine (Horwath) Frye. On September 27, 1986 he married his high school sweetheart, Betsy LeMasurier, also of Litchfield.
Drexel was a graduate of Litchfield High School. He attended Randolph Macon College in Virginia and graduated with his associates degree at Northwestern Connecticut College. He was raised in St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Torrington, CT and became a parishioner of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Saratoga Springs when he moved to Argyle.
For many years, Drexel owned his successful architectural millwork business in Killingworth, CT where he and Betsy raised their daughters. In 2005, he returned to follow his dream of farming and the family moved to Argyle, New York. For the last 13 years, he was the owner and operator of Frye's Angus Beef in Argyle. Drexel enjoyed multiple sports and outdoor activities, especially golf, fishing, bike riding with his family.
Drexel was a member of the Killingworth Lions, he was the President of Killingworth Travel Basketball and also the Vice President of Adirondack Grazers.
Drexel is survived by his wife of 31 years, Betsy and their two daughters, Stephanne Frye and Katherine Frye; his sister, Geri Frye; and many extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Toni.

A Funeral Service will be conducted following the calling hours at the funeral home.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
