Finnance, Helen Bondos entered into eternal peace on December 3rd, 2020 after a brief illness with Covid19. She was born on June 15th 1925, the daughter of the late Andrew and Victoria Bondos. Helen graduated from Shelton High School in 1943. Helen was the widow of the late William G. Finnance Sr. and was the beloved mother of the late William Finnance Jr. Helen is survived by her daughter Karen Finnance, her dear sister and brother, Elizabeth Walsh and John Bondos, and many special nieces and nephews. Helen often said her greatest blessings were her grandchildren Maxwell Finnance and fiancée Melody Pere, grandson Hunter Finnance and his wife Katherine, and granddaughter Kaitlin Finnance and her fiancé Dan David, as well as her daughter-in-law Kathryn Vaida. Helen also leaves dear friends Sylvester Traylor, residents and staff of Greentree Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation. Helen was predeceased by her brothers Henry, Stanley and Joseph Bondos, and also by her sisters Bertha Eccles, Janet Waleski and Julia Gyurko. A mass for immediate family will be held at St. Michaels Church in Derby, Connecticut on Saturday, December 19th at 11:00 a.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
