My sincere condolences to the Panico Family. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Joe or Rosemary, as I purchased their unit long-distance from NJ, I've heard many nice things about them from the long-time SCSU alumni "snowbirds" here in Courtwood. Again, my sympathies to the entire family.

Rosemary and family sorry for your loss.
I worked at a camp with Joe the summer before he started teaching at Michael Whalen. Miss Bosco was our teacher at M.L. Keefe. I was in the class of 1956 and we kept telling Joe wait until you meet Miss Bosco. As luck would have it their classrooms were across the hall from each other and the rest is history. Joe also was our football coach in the first year of the program, and we only played one game and didn't do well. It was great knowing him.

Rose and Mark, My heart out to you and your family in your loss. Joe always made me smile and laugh with his jokes, always had a moment to say hello and we shared the love of reading. I often asked him for author recommendations. Remember all the happy moments with him. My sympathy to all of you.

Joe , always modest and unassuming, was one of the torch bearers of my class, 1953 at SCSU. His strong leadership on the football field, in the classroom, and at our reunions is the mettle by which his classmates measured him. He will be sadly missed. Everett and Diane Smith Drugge
