Sally (Peery) Spiegel, 92, of Beach Ave., Madison, devoted wife of the late Herman D.J. Spiegel, died at her home on Sept. 14, 2018. Sally was born in New Haven, CT on Apr. 15, 1926, the daughter of the late Gordon Peery & Nancy Johnson Peery. Beloved mother of Robert & Susan Spiegel, William & Audrey Slater-Spiegel. Dear sister of Russel & Merle Peery. Cherished grandmother of Stefanie, Noah, Joshua, & Claire. Adored cousin and aunt to many.
Funeral Services at Temple Beth Tikvah, 196 Durham Rd., Madison, MONDAY morning at 11:00 o'clock with Interment Services to follow at the Temple Beth Tikvah section of Beaverbrook Cemetery, Route 145, Clinton. A Period of Mourning will be observed at 119 Beach Ave., Madison, Monday @ 7 p.m. Funeral Arrangements in care of Robert E. Shure & Son Funeral Home, 543 George St., New Haven. My thoughts are with the Spiegel family. I had the good fortune to grow up with Robert and William and enjoyed the hospitality of Mrs and Mr Spiegel. I have many great memories of Beach and Harbor Ave and the Spiegel family are prominent in many of them. I am sorry for your loss.
