Winnick, Edward, 92 , peacefully passed away at The Willows on Wednesday, July 26, 2017. He was the devoted husband of the late Betty Winnick. They shared 68 years together raising a loving family. Born in New Haven, CT, February 2, 1925 to the late Joseph and Anna Winnick. He proudly served in the Navy. He then went on to college and was a graduateof UCONN's first School of Pharmacy. He leaves his daughters; Susan (Bruce) Webb of Wellington, FL, Karen Gogel of Longmeadow, MA and Janet (Steve) Bracci of Fairfax Station, VA. Loving sister-in-law of Rhoda Gorenberg of Orange, CT. Cherished grandfather of Jennifer, Jeffrey, David (Melissa), Jonathan, Chelsea, and Nicole. Treasured Great-Grandfather of Brett, Jake, Dorothy and Benjamin. He was predeceased by his siblings Sonny Shields and Morris Winnick. The Winnick family would like to thank The Willows for their compassionate care. Graveside services will be Sunday, July 30th at 12:15 o'clock at B'Nai Jacob Memorial Park,200 Wintergreen Ave., New Haven.
