Teresa Giardina

GIARDINA, TERESA Teresa Giardina, 77, of Shelton, peacefully entered into eternal rest on January 31, 2011, at the Griffin Hospital in Derby. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank J. Giardina. Mrs. Giardina was born in Derby on May 4, 1933, daughter of the late Mariano and Margaret Villano Coppolo. She was employed as a legal secretary for Attorney David Cohen in Derby for most of her career and retired from Condon & Savitt in Ansonia. Teresa is survived by many loving and caring nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by brothers, John, Alexander, and Ernest Coppolo and a sister Phyllis Quesnell. Friends and relatives are invited to attend her funeral on Friday February 4, 2011, at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Church, 212 Elizabeth Street in Derby, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Mt. St. Peter's Cemetery in Derby. Visiting hours will also be held on Friday from 9:30 am until the procession leaves for church.
