I signed this book 11 years ago, and I still am sad she is gone. She was a very caring educator, a profession I have since chosen. Thank you Ms. Martino

Ten years and many teachers later, Ms Martino stands out as one of the most engaging, encouraging, and influential educators I have ever met. Thank you and rest easy.

My sister Kathy and I were shocked to hear of Debby's recent passing as well learning that her mother passed last year. I spoke with Ken and Jane Martino 6-7 years ago at the funeral of my sister-in-law and knew that Jane had had a stroke. Deepest sympathies to all.

Ms. Martino was hands down my favourite teacher and one of the only people to geniuinely try and make what were really difficult years a little bit easier. I always thought about going back to let her know what a difference she made in my life, I hope she knows how loved and appreciated she was.

Ms. Martino was an amazing teacher who cared about all of her students dearly. Even years after being in her class, I would visit her and was always so glad to see her. Future NCMS students will be missing out on having a wonderful, inspiring teacher. Rest in Peace.

Ms. Martino was my favorite teacher at NCMS. She was honestly, the only teacher to remember my name. I will never forget our greatest times together. I did everything I could to make her happy. I will never forget you. Ms. Martino R.I.P.

The flood of beautiful memories is ceaseless - running through Boston Common after a Bob Weir show to catch the bus back to P.C., discussing the merits of student learning objectives in middle school, visits to each other's homes, road trips for music, good times in Vermont, fine dining with you and Mike in a hot new RI restaurant. Always with so much laughter and smiles. You know I will never forget you. Never.

Rest in peace Ms. Martino, as a former student soon graduating from high school now I clearly remember social studies in 6th grade being one of my favorite classes.

My thoughts and prayers are with Ms. Martino's family. I know I speak for a lot of students when I say she made a huge impact on our lives. She's the reason I know what it means to be a good citizen. I'm proud to have had her as a teacher and incredibly lucky as well.
