GONZALEZ, LOUIS M. Louis M. Gonzalez, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014. Beloved husband of Penelope Rowland Gonzalez. Louis was born in New Haven on April 15, 1937 son of the late Luis Gonzalez and Rosa Arias Gonzalez. Also survived by L. Andrew Gonzalez, CDR Matthew T. Hart US Navy, Jeffrey Bosh and Thomas Bosh and their families. Mr. Gonzalez is a graduate of Yale University, Class of 1958 and received his Master’s degree in Public Health from Yale. Mr. Gonzalez was senior vice-president of the John D. Thompson Institute for Research, Education and Training for CT Hospice. For two decades, Louis channeled his passion for his profession for the benefit of those families who were faced with life ending experiences Louis also had a love for music that he shared through the piano, and his friends and family will always cherish that memory. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. George Church, 33 Whitfield St, Guilford on Tues. Dec. 23 at 12:30pm. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd, Branford, CT 06405. Arrangements in care of the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St, Guilford. My sincere sympathy on the loss of your loved one. I had the pleasure of meeting Louis through Yale School of Medicine. He was a gentle man who loved his job and those lives he touched. He will be missed.
