TROWBRIDGE, GAIL MARICA GUILMART On October 23, Gail Marcia Guilmart Trowbridge of Meriden and Milford, beloved wife of Donald G. Trowbridge, passed peacefully in slumber after a long struggle against ovarian cancer. Born in Cambridge MA 9/12/1951, moved to Milford 1958, graduated Jonathan Law H.S. class of ’69. and attended S.C.S.C. Soon married, she joined the father of her son in Heidleburg Germany, where her son Daniel was born. Eventually returning to Milford, she got work with ATT and later Lucent Technologies at central offices throughout the state and region. She bought her own home and raised her son in Milford. She actively volunteered for the staging of the New Haven Special Olympics and supported WPKN radio 89.5. Don and Gail met in ’96 at a Mensa event and soon married their interests. Wed 5/28/00.Their motto: TWO DISTINCTS:DIVISION NONE.They traveled extensively in Europe and No. America incl. Cuba and Hawaii. Gails interests centered on the birth of her granddaughters Molly,Niamh and Lynnie, as well as art, architecture, travel,fashion,clothing, crafts, popup camping and ham radio. Following retirement, she aided Don at his TV repair business in Bristol and enjoyed many motorcycle rides to shows and fairs in the area. Survivers incl, her husband Don, son Daniel Chesson, his wife Kelly and the children, Sister Debra Andrews and her partner Joe Wall, nieces and nephews. Sincere thanks to Smilow Hospital and CT Hospice and staff for their compassionate care. Interment will be private. A future memorial will celebrate her life.
