My condolences are with the Affinito family, it's so hard losing a family member in death. A psalm that always brings me comfort is chapter 34 verses 17 and 18. These help us to know that God is with us during our distresses and when we our hearts are broken. I hope this can bring you comfort now as well as in the future as it has for me in the past. Again I am so sorry for your loss.
