Gerrit was a fine man, always willing to stop and talk no matter how busy he was. He raised very nice children and Broadway Gardens was a special place. I am deeply sorry to the Moes family for your loss.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr Moes. I worked for the Moes family at Broadway Gardens many years and loved to return to watch him seed plants and grow his special plants of the year. He always remembered me when I shopped there and we would talk. To the whole Moes Family my thoughts are with you.

We are very saddened to hear about the passing of Mr. Moes (he will always be 'Mr.' Moes). He provided many of us kids in Port Weller with our first job - transplanting pansies for a 'clip' per flat. He was hard working, and very devoted to his family. Our condolences to Mrs. Moes, Harry and Marge, Jerry and Carol, Rob and Evelyn, Theresa and Alfred, and, his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Take comfort in knowing he is in peace and will always be with you.

Mr. and Mrs. Moes were long time friends of my late parents, Magdalena and Cornelis Kemmers. They were wonderful people and helped us get settled in Canada. My condolences to his wife and children. May he rest in peace.

We're very sorry to hear of your loss which is worsened still by the fact that your grieving process is hindered because of the Covid-19 restrictions currently in place. We trust that your love of family will get you through this difficult time until you can all be together to share each other's grief and celebrate the life of a son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to so many. Mr. Moes brought joy to many and first job to kids in the neighbourhood. Broadway Gardens definitely elevated Port Weller's status.
