Bethany A. DiMarco Obituary
FREDON -- Bethany A. DiMarco, 60, of Fredon, passed away Thursday, Aug. 2, 2018, at her sister Faith A. Ullmann's home in Fredon after a hard-fought battle with metastatic uterine cancer.

Bethany was born in Yonkers, N.Y., and lived in Lake Mohawk, Sparta, through high school. Bethany attended Montclair State College, majoring in French.

She lived many years in Philadelphia, where she enjoyed a long career in the hospitality industry, providing her the opportunity to travel the world.

Bethany loved her dogs, Bruno and Gigi, who recently predeceased Bethany after many years of loving


Bethany was predeceased by her mother, Beverly Joan Theresa Franklin DiMarco Montague, and her father Paul A. DiMarco Sr., both previously from Sparta. She is survived by her sister Faith A. Ullmann and her husband, Brad, of Fredon, and their children, Augustine F. Ullmann and his wife, Atosa, and their daughter, Lily Rose Ullmann, of Aliso Viejo, Calif., Brendan D. Ullman, of New York, N.Y., and Julie L. Ullmann, of Fredon; her brother Paul A. DiMarco Jr. and his wife, Laura, of East Stroudsburg, Pa., and Paul's children, Marissa Howard and her husband, Jeremy, living presently in Austria, and Wil DiMarco, of Bethel, Conn.; her brother Matthew L. DiMarco and his wife Trish, of Redding, Calif., and their children, Emily Schramm, her husband, Victor, and their children, Beckett and Adalynn Schramm, also of Redding, Calif., and Jordan DiMarco and his wife, Kristene, and their children, Lorelai and Nicodemus DiMarco, also of Redding, Calif.; and her brother Christopher DiMarco, from Santa Cruz, Calif., and his children, Devon, Sasha and Clive DiMarco.

Bethany is also survived by many dear friends who loved her and provided her enormous emotional support throughout her courageous battle with cancer, including Lisa and David Hayes, from Mechanicville, N.Y.; Liz Scarlett, from Philadelphia; Gina Forte, from New York City; Keli Siegel, from Philadelphia; and Caren Brenman from New Jersey.

Bethany's family would like to thank the entire Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice staff, especially Lorraine (her aide) and Patsy (her nurse), and Visiting Angels, of Sparta, especially Bella (her aide), for their compassionate and dedicated care of Bethany in her final days.

Bethany's wishes were to be cremated and for a private remembrance of her life to be held with immediate family only. Memorial donations in memory of Bethany A.
