Harriett Louise Reilly
Harriett Louise Reilly, 87, Traditions of Hanover resident, Bethlehem, PA, formerly of Somerset and Piscataway, NJ, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021, at Chandler Estate, PA. Born in Franklin, NJ, one of four daughters to late Sparta residents Police Chief Harry Leo and Lila (Earl) Ducey, Harriett was a graduate of Newton High School, and a registered nurse at East Orange General Hospital, NJ before marrying and starting a family with her first late husband, John M. Samuelson. She was later twice blessed in matrimony to her 2nd late husband, Terrence P. Reilly. She enjoyed dancing, fellowship at various churches, and socializing at her local Senior Groups.
Survivors: She is survived by her son, Karl E. Samuelson, Mt. Bethel, PA; daughter, Linda L. Lynch and husband, Brian, Virginia Beach, VA; grandsons Joshua E. Samuelson, Emmaus, PA, Christopher A. Lynch, Bridgewater, NJ, and Matthew E. Lynch, Margate, FL; sister Nancy Lindow and husband, Roy, Seminole, FL; brother-in-law George Ferguson, Livingston, NJ; and nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by sisters Mary Jane Barton, Shirley Ferguson, and grandson Peter R. Samuelson.
Services: Harriett is laid to rest next to her 1st husband at Somerset Hills Memorial Park and a memorial service will be held at a future date. Arrangements entrusted to STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME, INC. Allentown PA @ www.stephensfuneral.com.
