I was so very saddened and shocked to hear about John's passing. I attended the University of Buffalo with John where he was my "study buddy" and close friend as we ended up getting the same engineering degree. I have so many fond memories of John (or Johnny T as he was known at UB) he was, quite simply, a great kind natured guy...everyone loved Johnny T. My condolences go out to Julie, Luke, Sophia and the wider family.

Some of the best years of my life were spent with John growing up on Midland and Kirk Ave. John was always ready to play football, basketball and baseball with all his neighborhood friends. He was always A good sport and a lot of fun to pal around with. We had a shared dislike of the Dallas Cowboys, since we were diehard Miami Dolphins fans. So - I never did understand why he wore a Kansas City Chiefs football helmet as a kid. As fellow artists, we spent a lot of hours in his family room drawing sports logos. As a true competitor, he always thought his work was better than mine! John will be missed, but his impact on our lives will remain. Peace my brother.

My sincere condolences out to the Tremont Family. I was fortunate enough to work very close with John at UPS since 2008. He was a true professional and very talented. We had lunch 2 weeks ago and discussed future plans and retirement. I left the company last August 2017. When my phone was ringing off the hook on Monday morning from former Colleagues, I was shocked. I hung up the phone and said " I was thinking about what a Friend had said and I was hoping it was a lie". Neil Young. John will be sorely missed.

John was my youngest brother and it is hard to believe this has happened. John was an even tempered and kind person. I doubt that he had an enemy in the world. He had many friends dating back to his grammar school days. He loved sports including playing basketball and baseball and rooting for the NY Yankees and SU teams. He prided himself on his education and his profession as an IT Manager at UPS. Most of all John loved his wife Julie and children Luke and Sophia .He was a great family man and role model for all of us.

John was my supervisor at UPS in the early 90's and I had the pleasure of reuniting with him a couple of hears ago while he was working on a project in Syracuse. John was a great guy and a true gentleman, he lit up when he spoke of his children and he could not have been more proud. He was a man that you could truly respect. Deepest sympathies to John's family at this difficult time.

Johnny is my little brother and his sudden passing has jolted my emotions. I cannot stop thinking about him. He joined our family on Christmas Eve in a red stocking and since then he was relentless in his desire to keep the Tremont's close. His creativity from Rose's cookbook to memorable gifts; demonstrate that desire. We played softball, went to SU & Yankee games, the Big East Tournament, BBQ's, at 9 he was my army pen-pal and now he is gone. Johnny, I will miss your energy, your texts and I miss you!
