Jacqueline Marie Wershing
- Wershing, Jacqueline Marie age 87 of Newton passed away peacefully Thursday Feb. 4, 2021 at her home in Bristol Glen, Newton, NJ. Born in Wallington, NJ she spent her youth at Indian Lake, NJ. Jacqueline married Glenn Wershing and moved to Huntsburg, NJ to enjoy their estate and country life.
Jackie worked at Picatinny Arsenal and had received her Associates Degree from Morris county Community College. Jackie and her late husband co-founded the Green Township Historical Society as well as serving as past President of the Junior Women's Club of New Jersey. Active in Veterans affairs, she volunteered for the Newton VFW as well as being co-founder of the annual Veterans Day essay contest.
Jackie enjoyed tennis, skiing and had a special place in her heart for the Jersey Shore. She loved their many family vacations at the beach, fishing, crabbing, playing miniature golf and enjoying the seafood.
Jacqueline was pre deceased by her beloved husband Glen A. in 2015, her son Glenn M. in 2017, her brother Mickey Hrinko, her sisters Geri Barlak, Patty Casey and Lottie Molnar. She is survived by her daughters Diane and her husband Paul Henrich D.V.M and Jeanne and husband Vinnie Perrella. Her grandchildren Christopher Perrella, Ursula and husband John Leo, Karl and wife Robin Henrich. Also surviving are her great grandchildren Elsa and Greta Leo, Reese, Kole, Luke and Nolan Henrich as well as her sister Barbara Sperry and her brother Walter Hrinko and her daughter in law Barbara Gould.
A celebration of Jacqueline's life will be announced in the summer. In lieu of flowers please remember all the fun times with Jackie and enjoy a glass of wine. Arrangements and online condolences through www.iliff

She was a great person to talk to she told me a lot of stories about her life and her house she would stop by with mr.Wershing when she would be on water patrol they are both missed
