Blessing and condolences to Celia´s family.
Celia was a dear friend from the time I moved to the Sander´s Mill community. I joined the Thursday Quilting Group In about 2008 and I new very little about quilting. Because Celia was an accomplished quilter and perfectionist, I soon cut and pieced my first wall hanging. She was such an inspiration and I loved her vibrant and caring personality. I truly valued our friendship. Our yearly trek to attend the Puyallup Quilting Expo was so much fun. We stayed with our dear friend MaryLou and spent 3 days, fabric shopping and dining at an old Victorian house in Sumner.
So many wonderful memories with my faithful friend. She will be missed and remembered always.
Blessing and love, Patricia Mittness

Celia was always friendly, upbeat and enthusiastic. Her quilting skills were amazing and I was fortunate in winning a small appliqued wall hanging quilt one year at our Quilting Group, made by Celia. I hang it every Christmas. It reads "Snowmen fall from Heaven unassembled". I will have a Holy Mass celebrated for your soul Celia!

Celia was an amazing mother-in-law and will be so missed in our lives! She had such a fun sense of humor and loved entertaining family and friends! Never a dull moment at Celia and Bob´s house - they lived life with amazing attitudes! Celia was one of the most creative, talented and special lady that I have had the pleasure to know and love - she never ceased to amaze us with her many projects! Rest In Peace - you were so loved!
