Condolences to Dans family. Our family have great memories of Dan and his wife Christine. We moved to Ellensburg in 1982 and first met Dan on a field trip from the school headed for Seattle. Dan was sitting across the isle and was so very nice to me and my family. After that Dan kept in touch with us living on Thorp Hwy and we would go on wood cutting trips up in the hills. In the winter if he was patrolling the area we lived, he would have hot coco with us. Fond memories of a great man and a very loving heart for all. So thankful we had the friendship that we had with Dan. Prayers and peace to Christine and the boys.
