Joyce Marie Elizabeth Katalinich July 2, 1937 - January 15, 2023 Mom passed peacefully surrounded by family.

Joyce was born July 2, 1937 to Jess and Myra Koselisky Long of Ronald, Washington.

Joyce met the love of her life, George Katalinich, at a high school dance. She was so excited when he proposed, she ran to tell her family before even telling George yes. They married at Immaculate Catholic Church Roslyn, WA in 1956. They lived in Ronald for 4 years before moving to the Katalinich family farm on Gobblers Knob Road where they would raise their 5 children.

Joyce is survived by her children Theresa (Andre) Gano, Linda Monoian, George Katalinich, Debra Katalinich, and Karen Hill.

Forever cherished and remembered by her grandchildren Sarah (Don) Rochester, Eric (Ashley) Appleby, Ashley (Steven) Bauman, Andria Gano, Ronnie (Nicky) Jones and great grandchildren Kaylee, Aiden, Peighton, Ronnie Jr., Cooper, Hayley, and Carter.

Joyce enjoyed playing softball, bowling (winning many state titles), and even joined a pool league in her fifties. She was a member of St. John's Alter Society. She also spent many years as a member of the Cle Elum Eagles Women's Auxiliary, which she also served as president.

Viewing will be from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Johnston & Williams Funeral Home in Ellensburg. The Rosary will prayed be at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday also at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 20, 2023 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Cle Elum.
