James O'Brien Obituary

James R. O'Brien January 30, 1948 - November 5, 2021 Jim was born in Seattle and passed away in Cle Elum where he moved to in 2003 with wife Cathy.

Jim is survived by loving wife Cathy O'Brien. Children Pat O'Brien, Kelly O'Brien (wife Jenny), grandchildren Collin and Mackenzie, Bobby Moran and Girlfriend Jessica Emery. Brother Mike O'Brien (wife Jana) and their children Erin (husband Robert Cullen), Alison (husband Jose Molina), Kaitlin (husband Benji Aguilar) and Sean O'Brien and his dog Annie.

Jim was a plumber since the early 70's. In 1977, he partnered with Dennis Kehus until Dennis retired in 2006. Jim and his employees Eric Sefen and Jerry Hoefs worked together until 2018. Jim semi-retired and went to work with Perez Plumbing, David Perez and Felipe Solis as a Superintendent until February 2021 when diagnosed with cancer.

Jim loved fishing, golfing, rock hunting & cutting, antique hunting & enjoying time with family and friends. Jim was a great friend to all and best husband anyone would want. He is and will be missed by all that knew him.
