Ruth Repin Obituary

Ruth Ann Repin Born with a loving spirit and thirst for adventure in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Tucson, Arizona, Ruth moved to the Pacific Northwest in the early 70's where she found herself commercial fishing in Alaska and riding a Harley Sportster in Woodinville, Washington.

Ruth met Rick at the Duvall Tavern in 1982. Rick and his friend Gene had just stopped in for a beer on their way home from a weekend fishing trip when Ruth and her friend Robin walked in. Rick, of course, had no clue, but Ruth knew right away. She confided in her friend Robin later that day, "Oh my god, I think I'm going to marry that man". They were married in 1987.

They moved to and became a part of the Ronald, Washington community in 2000. Ruth loved her home in Ronald. She loved her plants, animals, and flowers, and the wildlife walking through her yard. She loved camping, music, dancing, outdoor bars, campfires and just having fun. Mostly she loved her friends who, to her, were members of the family.

For Ruth any excuse for a gathering and a shared meal was something she lived for. People who stepped over the welcome mat at Ruth's home knew and felt they were indeed welcomed. She was a very social and loving person who truly cared for others. She touched the hearts of, and will be missed by many.

The welcome mat at Ruth and Rick's home in Ronald will be out on Saturday, September 16 (12:00) for any who would like to stop by for a shared memory and a toast to this remarkably fine woman.

Most of my life´s memories involved Ruthie. The good days the bad days but most of all the fun days. For 46 years she was my friend and I will cherish each memory forever. Fly free my friend until we meet again. Love you
