ANDERSON

Janet K. Anderson (Nee Sansom) of California, KY ascended into the arms of our Lord on March 23, 2014 at 87 years of age at the Baptist Convalescent Center. Janet was born January 13, 1927. Janet worked for Campbell County Schools for 20 years before retiring. She was a former member of Silver Grove Baptist Church and a current member of Mentor Baptist Church. She was also a Worthy Matron in the Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira "Alex" Anderson; her parents, Thomas and Ruth Sansom; siblings, Carroll Sansom, Richard Sansom, Frances Wells and her grandson, Jarod Mason. Janet is survived by her loving children, Jennifer (Michael) Mason, Jim (Linda) Anderson, Janette (Ron) Kahles and Janell (Doug) Schabell and Great-Grandchildren, Miranda Mason and Madeline Mason. Visitation will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the GrandView Cemetery, Mentor, KY. Memorials may be directed to the Baptist Convalescent Center, 120 Main Street, Newport, KY. 41071. Alexandria Funeral Home in charge or arrangements.
