WOLFE
Leslie Wolfe, Sr., age 87, of Buford, Ga., went home to be with the Lord on April 1, 2013. Leslie was born on December 29, 1925 in Falmouth, KY to Pearl and Leslie Wolfe and was one of 11 kids.
Leslie leaves two sisters and four brothers, Zola Moore and Reta Wright, Falmouth; Paul Wolfe, Falmouth; Marvin Wolfe, Erlanger, Ky.; Ronnie Wolfe, Richmond, Ky.; Llano Wolfe, Batavia, Ohio. 2 sisters and one brother predeceased him in infancy. His sister, Aleida, predeceased him in 2000.
Leslie leaves behind his wife of 38 years, Yvonne, his daughter Christy Lynne, son Leslie Jr., all three of Buford, Ga., Regina Etheridge of Albuquerque, NM and Roy Brent Wolfe of Grayson, Kentucky, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Leslie is a member of The First Baptist Church of Atlanta.
Leslie was a World War II veteran, serving in the US Navy in the South Pacific from 1942 until 1945.
He worked at General Motors in Norwood, Ohio, for 30 years and Steak 'n Shake in Duluth, GA for 13 years.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 8, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford, GA, and Leslie will be buried at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA on Monday, April 8, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with military honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
