ELBERT
Delphis Wayne Elbert, 78, of Independence passed away suddenly Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Edgewood. He retired from Cincinnati Milicron as a Core Handler Supervisor in 1999. Wayne was a member of St. Cecilia Parish, was an avid UK basketball fan, loved to play softball and enjoyed dancing with the Jubilee Cloggers group. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy, brothers; Herb, Dode, Randall "Whitey" and Alford Elbert, an infant sister and step-grandson Frank. Survivors include sons; Tim (Debra) Elbert of Covington, Terrence Elbert of Taylor Mill, daughters; Tammy Elbert of Taylor Mill, Tina Riley of Independence, grandchild; Christian Riley, step-grandchild; Jodi and step-great-grandchildren; Anthony, Sarah, Logan, Morgan, Rhiannon, and Jacob. Visitation will be Thursday, March 28, 2013 from 11 A.M. until Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 PM at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Independence. Burial will be at St. Cecilia Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the St. Cecilia Church, 5313 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051. Online condolences may be expressed at: www.chambersandgrubbs.com

Elbert Family, We are so sorry to hear of you'r loss. We just found out that this happened or we would have been there.He was a wonderful man loved by his neighbors. He was sweet,kind,gentle,caring and so much more. He will be truly missed.

Me and my boys Hunter Lovelace and Quinntin Botkins wanted to send our condolances to the family. His wife Dotty passed going on about 2 yrs now. He didnt make it much longer after. May they rest in peace. He was a great neighbor,great man and would have done with out so that he could give to others.His birthday was the same month as my 5yr old and 5 days difference between the 2 not to mention the only person my 5 yr old called papa.REST IN PEACE NEVER GONE AND NEVER FORGOT!!!ALWAYS IN OUR HEARTS AND PRAYERS... WE MISS U
