Bernard H. Feltner Sr.


Bernard H. Feltner, Sr., 84, of Dayton, KY, died on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Saint Elizabeth Hospice in Fort Thomas, KY. He was a retired welder with Bushman Conveyors. He was a Paratrooper in the Army during the Korean War. He was a lifetime member of the Rakkasan 187 Army Infantry Division and the VFW in Dayton, KY. He was an avid sports fan. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Ann Feltner; step-son, Tom Miller; and grandson, Ron Miller. He is survived by his wife, Aileen Feltner; son, Bernard Feltner, Jr.; step-sons, Kenneth (Karen) Miller and Gary (Jennifer) Miller; step-daughter, Phyllis (Dan) Sparks; 17 grandchildren and 7 great- grandchildren. Visitation 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, April 15 at Dobbling, Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, 241 Fairfield Ave., Bellevue, KY. Services will follow at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. A second visitation will be on Thursday, April 17, at Reece Funeral Home, 25 E & Old 63, Harrogate, TN from 10:00 am to 12 noon. Services will follow at 12 noon at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Houston Cemetery in Speedwell, TN. Memorials are suggested to Saint Elizabeth Hospice, 483 S. Loop Rd., Edgewood, KY 41017 or any Veteran's Organization of donor's choice.
