Anna Dickman Obituary

Anna Elizabeth "Ann" Dickman, beloved wife of Richard Dickman for 67 years. Loving mother to daughters, Mary (Berry) Howe, Kathy (Dave) Muck, Susan Dickman, Nancy Ward, Beth (Daniel) Nagle, and sons, David (Beth) Dickman, Philip Dickman and Rick Dickman. Four sons preceded her in death, John, Joe, Bill and Steve. Devoted grandmother to 17 and Great Grandmother to 21. Ann passed away peacefully on April, 29, 2017 surrounded by her family. She graduated from the Nurses Cadet Corp at St. Elizabeth Hospital in 1948. Ann married Richard in 1950. Shortly thereafter she gave up her nursing career to raise her large and wonderful family. Her children, rightfully, said she had a heart of gold. Her good example and loving care resulted in a family of generous and hard working adults. In later years, Ann with her husband and family managed Dickman Emery Apartments in Covington, Ft. Wright and later in Ft. Thomas. She and her family were also good stewards at the Churches they belong to. Especially St. Josephs, which closed in 1970 and thereafter at St. Benedicts and St. Agnes. She and her husband also did volunteer work at HONK, St. Vincent de Paul society and St. Benedicts and at Be-Concerned Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Agnes Church. Burial at Mother of God Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Be-Concerned Inc. 1100 Pike Street Covington, KY 41011. Funeral arrangements handled by Middendorf Funeral Home, Ft. Wright.
