Villa Hills - Jerry Lee Parton, 79, of Villa Hills, Kentucky passed away peacefully at his home with family on Monday, September 10, 2018. He grew up in Bromley, KY with his family and 4 brothers, Bobby, David, Pat and Ralph Parton with whom remained close throughout their lives. Jerry was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He was in the U.S. Navy proudly serving on the USS North Hampton, President Kennedy's Command Ship, also known as the "Floating White House" prior to marrying his beloved wife of 48 years, Nancy Lee Vielhauer-Parton. Jerry graduated from Thomas More College in Edgewood and enjoyed working at CG&E in Cincinnati for 35+ years at the side of many family members and friends. He was a Supervisor of Internal Audits for company operations and assets. He has life-long friends from his work, the community and Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ft. Mitchell, KY where he raised his family for decades. Jerry is preceded in death by his loving wife, Nancy; their two sons, Jerry Lee "Jay" Parton and Wesley Brandon Parton; his parents, Ralph and Mary Ann Gormley-Parton; his brothers, David and Bobby Parton and his father and mother-in-law, Julius & Virginia Vielhauer. Jerry will be missed by those in the family who survive him including his daughters, Jill (Jeff) Baeten of Verona & Wendy (Butch) Butler of Atlanta; brothers Ralph (Patti) Parton of Florence & Pat (Beth) Parton of Erlanger; his grandchildren, Jessica, Brady and Joe Baeten of Verona, Addison, Jacob and Benjamin Butler of Atlanta, & Harley Fossett (Jay's daughter) of Bellevue; Harley's daughter and the only great-granddaughter, Bella, as well as his sister in-law, Judy Vielhauer-Low of Cincinnati, OH and brother in-law, Sonny (Debbie) Vielhauer of Newton, OH. A celebration of Jerry's life will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Mary Queen of Heaven Church, 1150 Donaldson Highway, Erlanger, KY 41018. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the hour of Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 pm. Interment with full Military Honors to follow at Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Ronald B.
