FANGMAN

Leonard Frank "Skip" died peacefully on July 3, 2016 at the age of 81. His memory will be carried on by his sweetheart and wife Mildred (nee Rauen) Fangman. Skip was the devoted father of Jeffrey (Lisa), Jane, Lisa, Doug, Dan (Michelle) and Timothy (Jessica). He is preceded in death by his son Michael Joseph Fangman and brother James E. Fangman. He was the loving grandfather of 17 and great-grandfather of 15. He is also survived by his brother Donald Fangman and sister Jane Fangman. Skip was born on 10/13/34 in Dayton, KY. He graduated from St Xavier in 1952. He pursued his love of music by directing choirs at St. Henry, St. Agnes (47 years) and most recently at St. John's Catholic Church. He fulfilled his love of politics by serving as a Mayor, Vice-Mayor, and Councilman as well as forming and serving on many organizations for the City of Park Hills. He followed in his family plumbing business, going on to serve as Business Agent for Local #59. His favorite hobbies were golfing, fishing and wood working. All services will be held at St. Agnes Church, Ft. Wright, KY on Thursday, July 7th. Visitation will be from 3:30-6:30 p.m. Mass to begin at 7:00 p.m. A reception will follow at St. Agnes Undercroft. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Redwood School and Rehabilitation Center or the Diocesan Catholic Children's Home, Ft Mitchell, KY.
