Union Township - Lillian Mae Cooper "Petey", 89, of Union Township, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 at her residence. She was born November 15, 1928 in New Richmond, daughter of the late Harlan Preston and Anna Rebecca Nickerson Tackett. She was the widow of the late Cecil Calbert Cooper Jr., who passed away in 2009. Lillian's favorite thing in the world to do was play Bingo. She is survived by her children, Ricky (Tina) Cooper, Patricia (Dennis) Morgan, Gary (Tamala) Cooper, Fran (Vincent) Sunderman, Robert (Tina) Cooper, Helen (Tim) Holton, Cecil Calbert (Ernie Johnson) Cooper III, Elizabeth (Ken) Fields and Teresa J. (Jan) Grimm; 28 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Randy David Cooper. Family and friends may visit from 5:00 - 7:00 PM, Thursday, February 8, 2018 at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home, 177 W. Main St. (SR 125), Amelia. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM, Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Union Township. Please sign her online tribute wall at www.ecnurre.com.
