Rev. Paul Francis Krebs, 83, of Fort Thomas, passed away September 5, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center - Ft. Thomas, KY. Father Krebs was a graduate of Newport Catholic High School and received his college education in Philosophy from St. Mary College, St. Mary, KY. He received his degree in theology from Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C. and his post graduate degree from Boston College. He was Ordained June 1, 1957 by The Most Rev. William T. Mulloy at St. Mary's Cathedral, Covington, KY. In 1957, Father Krebs served as Assistant Pastor of Corpus Christi Church, Newport and teacher at Newport Catholic High School. In 1962, he served as an Assistant at St. Anthony Church, Bellevue, KY and as Associate Pastor in 1968. He was assigned as Pastor of St. Anthony Church, Bellevue in 1978. He served as the Diocesan Director, Legion of Mary and as Chaplain, St. Elizabeth Medical Center, North. In 1983 he was assigned as Pastor, All Saints Church, Walton until his retirement in 1995. He also served as Sacramental Minister with St. Ann Mission, Covington and Administrator, St. Patrick Church, Maysville. In 2005, he became Parochial Administrator of St. John Church, Wilder. In 2010, he moved to Carmel Manor, Ft. Thomas, KY. Father Krebs was born June 3, 1930 in Newport, KY to the late George Krebs and Julia Strategier Krebs. He is survived by his Brothers, George H. (Shirley) Krebs and Stanley M. (Ruth Ann) Krebs, 9 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. Visitation from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm, Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at St. Therese Church, Southgate with Vigil Service beginning at 7:30 p.m. Visitation Wednesday, September 11, 2013 from 10am-10:45am at St. Therese Church, Southgate, KY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, September 11, 2013, at St. Therese Church, Southgate, Kentucky. Burial will take place in the St. Stephen Cemetery Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
