SMITH
Ruth E. Smith, age 93, of Grant's Lick, KY, went peacefully home, Friday, July 5, 2013. Ruth was a member of Grant's Lick Baptist Church, Happy 100's and a retired employee of K-Mart. She was preceded in death by her husband Verner C. "Bud" Smith and son Russ Smith. She is survived by two sons, Robert (Bonnie) Smith of Alexandria, KY and Rick (Kristi) Smith of New Whiteland, IN; two daughters, Carol (Joe) Rodriguez of Mesa, AZ and Patricia (Roland) Wright of Grant's Lick, KY; one sister Lucille Munyan of Jackson, OH; 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Visitation 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM Friday, July 12, 2013 with funeral service following at the Grant's Lick Baptist Church. Burial in the Oakland Cemetery, Grant's Lick, KY. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to charity of your choice. Alexandria Funeral Home serving the family.
