Cold Spring - Willis H. Hatton, 87, of Cold Spring, passed away on March 6, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood, KY. Willis retired from the U.S. Post Office in Newport, KY, he was a 50 year member of the National Association of Letter Carriers. Willis served as Past Master of the Newport Masonic Lodge # 358 F. & A.M, he was the Past Patron of Dora Chapter Order of the Eastern Star in Dayton, and was a member of the Newport Elks. Willis drove a medical van for Senior Services of N. KY for 15 years, he was a volunteer at the V.A. Medical Center in Ft. Thomas, and a U.S. Army Veteran, he also sold collectibles at the Florence Antique Center for 10 years. Willis was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Hatton, his sisters, Mary Bock, Lucille Hammon, and Loretta Daniel, his brother, Ray Hatton, and his dear companion Glenda Smith. Willis is survived by his brothers, Frank Hatton, and Carl Hatton, and a step-son, Steve (Dianne) Yelton. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, Friday, March 9, 2018 at Dobbling Funeral Home 106 S. Ft. Thomas Ave. in Ft. Thomas, KY. Funeral Ceremony will follow at 12:00 pm at Dobbling Funeral Home. Burial will take place in the Evergreen Cemetery in Southgate, KY. Memorials are suggested to the 5211 Madison Rd.
