STAMPER
John Stamper, 64, of Covington, Kentucky, passed away on February 2, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, Kentucky. John was born in Newport, KY, to John Stamper and Eliza Dixon, He worked in construction and hung drywall. He loved to work on cars and was a member of the Scroungers Car Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Stamper and Eliza Dixon, and sister, Darlene. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Darlene Ewing Stamper, sons, Dennis, John, Mark, Tony, Jimmy, Josh, daughters, Sharon, Billie Jo, Angel, Eliza, sister, Wanda, and 27 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 1 niece and 5 nephews. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 7, from 10am-12noon at Cooper Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 12noon. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Southgate, KY. Online condolences can be given at CooperFuneralHome.net.
