Jennings
Joseph L. Jennings, 90, of Fort Thomas, passed away on June 25, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood, KY. Joe was the Director of Benefits with the Cinergy Corperation in Cincinnati, OH, a WWII Army Veteran, and a graduate of Georgetown College. Joe was the Vice President of Economic Development for the N. KY. Chamber of Commerce, and he was a Goodwill Ambassador for the Chamber of Commerce. Joe was a longtime member of the Newport Rotary Club. He served on the Holly Hill Children's Home Board, the Campbell County Library Board and he was a member of the Newport, Ft. Thomas, and Wilder Business Associations. Joe is survived by his wife, Ruth Byland Jennings, his daughter, Janet Willig, his grandson Matt (Tara) Willig and his great-grandchildren, Cortland & Cole Willig. Visitation will be from 2 PM to 3 PM Saturday July 1, 2017 at the Dobbling Funeral Home in Ft. Thomas. Funeral Ceremony will be held 3 PM Saturday, July 1, 2017, at the Dobbling Funeral Home, 106 S. Ft. Thomas Ave. in Ft. Thomas, KY. Burial will take place in the Highland Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, KY. Memorials are suggested to the Holly Hill Children's Home, 9599 Summer Hill Rd.
