Kevin Leslie

Kevin Leslie, 50, of Oklahoma City, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2009 in Purcell.Kevin Alan Leslie was born July 3, 1958 in Valley Springs, S.D., the older of two sons born to Howard Elmer Leslie and Alice Marie (Franka) Leslie. He was raised in Faribault, Minn. and graduated from Faribault High School in 1976. After school, he moved to Orlando, Fla. and began working in bus repair. He moved back to OKC after the tragic death of his brother, Michael, to be closer to his family.Kevin married Carol Baker. To this union, his daughter, Carlie Rae was born. He began working in heavy equipment construction and worked up to the rank of supervisor.Kevin will be remembered as a kind and gentle hearted man who cherished his daughter. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and loved riding horses in his younger years.He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Ray Leslie and his grandparents.He is survived by his parents, Howard and Alice Leslie of Purcell; daughter, Carlie Rae Leslie of Moore, Okla.; and many close friends.A Private Family Memorial Service will follow at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home of Purcell.
