Ellen Hart Fidler Obituary
Ellen Hart Fidler of Paris, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 2, 2018. Ellen Hart was preceded in death by her parents, Wilhelmina Knapp Fidler and Peyton Joseph Fidler, Jr. and a brother, John Raymond "Ray" Fidler. Ellen Hart was born in Richmond, Virginia, but grew up in Sharps, Virginia, fondly referred to as The Northern Neck, on December 31, 1953. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Paris, Kentucky. She had a loving spirit and particularly a great love for the elderly. She was the Director of The Breckinridge, an Alzheimer's Residence in Lexington. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Wayne Pritchett; two step-daughters, Jennifer Pritchett Blackburn (Tony) of Lexington and Amy Pritchett Hager (Troy) of Nicholasville, and a granddaughter, Kaylee Marie Spencer of Lexington; a brother, Peyton Joseph "Joey" Fidler, III, of Simonson, Virginia; two sisters, Sue Page Smith Maiden (David) of Richmond, Virginia and Mary Beth Woleben (Don) of Mollusk, Virginia. Ellen Hart is also survived by two nieces, five nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews who were very special to her. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 26 at 11:00 a.m., at the Milden Presbyterian Church, Sharps, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Gladys B. Fidler Memorial Fund, c/o Milden Presbyterian Church, Sharps, VA 22548.
