Betty (nee Hartog) - 94, of Wayne passed away on December 6, 2012.
Born in Haledon she was a long time resident before moving to Wayne in 1998.
She was a member of Covenant Christian Reformed Church in North Haledon.
Beloved wife of the late Otto J. Thoma (1964).
Devoted mother of Evelyn Butler and her husband Rex of South Carolina, Elizabeth Kelly and her husband Galen of Kingston, NY, Franklin Thoma and his wife Joann of Totowa and David Thoma and his wife Gail of Wantage.
Loving grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Dear sister of Trina Meeter and pre-deceased by Bert Hartog and Johanna Vermeulen.
Funeral Services Monday 11:00 am at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes.
Interment General Wm. C. Doyle Veteran's Cemetery, Wrightstown.
The family will receive family and friends Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Betty's memory to Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 400 North Haledon Avenue, North Haledon, NJ 07508.
