Libia (nee Sanchez), 72, of Clifton passed away on January 6, 2013.
Born and raised in Colombia, Mrs. Udis came to the United States when she was in her twenties, settling initially in Paterson before moving to Clifton in the 1970's and residing there since. She worked at Bright Star Industries in Clifton for sixteen years and then Daughters of Miriam Center, also in Clifton, retiring from there. She was a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church in Clifton.
Mrs. Udis is survived by her husband, James J. Udis, of Clifton; three sons: Humberto Sanchez, M.D. of Phoenix, AZ, Arturo Sanchez, D.D.S. of Woodland Park and Carlos Sanchez of Newark; several brothers and sisters and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday 10:30 AM at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visiting Thursday from 4-8_PM. Please visit www.bizub.com for driving directions and online condolences.
