David Holtzman

David M., born in Passaic, New Jersey, the second of nine children, he was a beloved father, grandfather and brother. The family mourns his recent passing at age 97.
He is survived by his loving daughter Bette (the late George D'Elia), Son Jeffrey (Shelley Doppelt), and his adored grandchildren: Hannah, Elizabeth, Olivia and Dylan. Dave is also survived by his beloved brothers Toby, and Eli, sister Deborah Tarlowe and many loving nieces and nephews.
Dave was predeceased by his wives Doris (nee Harrison), Gertrude Feinberg Aufzein and Joelith Goldzweig Satkin, Brothers Mendel, Mike Hall, and Joe, and sisters Esther and Rita Okrent.
He is also survived by his stepchildren Stephen (Eileen) Satkin, Richard (Phyllis) Satkin and Gail (David) Numark and step-grandchildren Beth, Scott, Jeffrey, Matthew, Dori, Tzipporah; and step-great grandchildren Joshua and Judah.
Dave was a veteran of World War II serving with the Flying Tigers, 14th Army Air Corps in India and China. Together with his brother Toby, he started Today's Homes and Crown Today, doing business in Passaic for more than 40 years. He was a past President and active member of Temple Emanuel in Passaic. Blessed with many friends and a devoted family, we are grateful for his life and all that he taught us. He will be missed.
