Frances Massaro

Frances A., 90, of Forked River, NJ, passed away April 8, 2013 at her home in the presence of her loving family.
Born in Pittstown, PA, Frances resided most of her life in Fort Lee, NJ and following her retirement from Prentice-Hall, lived in Forked River for twenty-five years.
A devoted wife of Anthony J. Massaro for 64 years, Fran was a loving mother to Maria Conway and husband Thomas of Englewood Cliffs, Anthony Massaro of Forked River and Frank Massaro of Easton, PA. Fran was the cherished grandmother to Matthew and Andrew Conway and Vanessa, Daniel and Amanda Massaro. Frances is also survived by many dear family members, good friends and neighbors.
Fran was a talented baker, accomplished seamstress, an avid reader and a great storyteller. Her beautiful Christmas letters will be remembered for their thoughtfulness and detail.
Fran was devoted to the Rosary and daily prayers and her kindness will be missed by many. Frances showed great strength, optimism and perseverance throughout her 90 years.
Family and friends may visit Frances on Friday, April 12, 2013 from 11 AM-12 PM at the Riggs Funeral Home, 130 North Route 9, Forked River, NJ. Interment shall follow at the Good Luck Cemetery in Lanoka Harbor.
